Mike Luckey left us Monday night, August 14, in his sleep. Mike was an avid builder-pilot. He built and flew a Petenpaul, a Woodstock, a Wagaero 2+2 and an ASC Spirit.
“Mike was a friend and fellow pilot for over 15 years. We made trips to Caddo Mills, flying the MSS Club Twin Grob and TSA flying a Slingsby 21. We exchanged parts and help in finishing our Spirit sailplanes. His counsel and help was always available to assist with a problem or a project.”
“Mike, aerotowing with his Ford powered Wagaero made possible the first flights of my ASC Spirit. We will miss him and wish him Good speed on his journey to the stars.”
