He was known for & published in the Soaring magazine in 1981 for flying the Continental Divide along with a group of his fellow friends & pilots. It was a big accomplishment at that time (as the story was told to us as children along with many pictures). He flew me as a toddler into the sky basically on his lap. He died last week 6/2023. Just in case anyone flew the personal silent flight of The Divide, I just wanted y’all to know that those were the best memories of his life. He is survived by his 4 kids and his wife.
