  Just rejoined SSA and am trying to login to the Soaring Magazine Online Archive and keep getting “Login failed”. I’ve sent a message to the webmaster and called the SSA number with no results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You will have to wait until they send you your member number and initial password. The credentials for getting into the SSA site are different for SSA Magazine Archive. I found no help on the site. I paid my money at 6am and it took a number of emails to the webmaster and office and a couple hours time for me to find the critter trails that led to the treasure that is the SSA magazine archive. Hopefully someone will deliver the stuff you need during the weekend.

    I got an instant reply from the webmaster and I am all set up. The problem was probably all mine…my laptop was referencing the wrong password. Magazine archives are all there and easily accessible. Thanks!

  I am having the same trouble. When prompted, the site will not send an email to allow an alternate entry. I have sent an email to SSA directly and have not received a response.

  Sorry you are having the problem I experienced. It is in the hands of the SSA webmaster to act. You might suggest to him that they remove this bump in the road to the SSA Archive.

  I also am having the same issue. I don’t recall any temp passwords in my welcome package. Must have missed it when I tossed all the extra stuff I wasn’t interested in at the time.

  Scroll to the bottom of this page for the SSA phone 575-392-1177 and call them or use the “Contact SSA” button and send an email to the Webmaster to request your member number and initial password.
