Everyone has arrived here in Montlucon. Tomorrow is the first day of unofficial Practice but our team will devote most of the day going over gliders, avionics and other equipment checks.
The around Montlucon is generally nice farm land but but much more rolling hills than I expected. More of the fields have wheat that is short in them. The area also has some very challenging airspace issue the we will be keeping and eye on.
We have already been receiving weather synopsis the past couple of days from Walt Rogers (WX). We really appreciate Walt accepting the challenge of lending his weather expertise as he has in the past.
Please look for posts from all members of the team on the next weeks.
We will posting websites so the competition can be watched in real time.
